93+pts. I love this producer. Especially the Rancia Chianti. This Super Tuscan may be one of the best values coming out of Italy. The nose exudes Italy. The palate is Tuscan sun burnt raspberries with the earthy ness that’s traditional to Sangiovese. Still a little tight, but so damn good.

This is the third iteration of this wine I’ve had and the oldest. It keeps getting better. The Sangiovese sings in the glass Medium plus body with fruit up front followed by those Sangiovese earth tones on the back of the pallet. Never gets tiring.

Perfect for spaghetti and meatballs. Italian Sunday dinner meal on a Friday since the kids wanted it. This is made for this meal. Good acidity. Cherry, balsamic, and leather. Pnp with just enough tannins showing to balance with the tomato sauce and meatballs.
