Chianti Classico, Chianti, Tuscany, ItalyWine is smoky and tobacco. Maybe a bit of currant or raspberry. No body. Very dry with a sharp acidity that is balanced by a tannic bite. Hubby didn’t like it, I did. Pretty pricey at $30ish a bottle, definitely drinks more like a $15 bottle.

Jun 9th, 2023No complaints but the Felsina Chianti Colli Senesi 2020 is more nuanced and intricate. The fruit here is thicker and the tannins bigger but the overall structure is not as resonant and long as the Colli Senesi.
