A great Malbec! Red berries, new oak, white pepper, and barnyard on the nose. Spices and red currant on the palate Sturdy bodied with high alc and round drying tannins. Medium minus acidity.
UPDATE: Reportedly, this is aged entirely in concrete! Thus, my oak nose note is off.

Medium purple. Very light notes of fresh raspberries on the nose. Dry with low acidity and low tannins. Light body, with notes of cooked pear and baked apple, finishing on subtle black currants. Short finish. Might need some more time in bottle to really show it's worth.

Dry red fruit forward, clean Malbec with indeed, as the name suggested, a concrete-mineral finish. Good body and structure but no depth.

Dec 11th, 2022Interesting Malbec. Whole cluster fermentation. Aged in Concrete. No oak but somehow seems a bit smoky. Reddish/purple color. Very herbal. Bright red fruit on the nose evolves to more dark berries on the pallet. Hints of mint, wet stones and iron. Quite textural. Fascinating and unique.
