Failla
Keefer Ranch Russian River Valley Chardonnay
Russian River Valley, Sonoma County, California, USA
Light straw in color. Pineapple, coconut, and a hint of reduction that quickly dissipates after opening. Soft, round mouthfeel with low acidity. Rich and yummy. Drink up!

2012. Had a taste of Failla Keefer Ranch from a cruvinet a decade ago. Loved it and bought up some Pinot Noir and Chardonnay over a few vintages...then kept thinking about enjoying the vertical with friends some time in the future... since we are not having big dinners with friends right now, it was time to delve in. This Chardonnay was fantastic! Great mouthfeel, tropical and stone fruit aromas and flavors.

Still going strong, especially in the purity of fruit. This reminds me of a younger Aubert. Has that rich, caramel quality and a full, glycerol mouthfeel. Touch more minerality here.
