Solid Hudson vineyard chard from a tough vintage.

Tasting at Failla

Green apple, melon and Meyer lemon with a hint of vanilla aromas. Surprisingly fresh. Medium body fills my mouth then gently fades. More of a savory, sensual palate of mild macadamia infused with acidity and wet stone. It paired famously with wild cod en papillote (leeks, mint, fennel, tangy yellow plum, walnuts, kalamata olives, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic & cherry tomatoes).

All about the balance you know like a tightrope.

Big Chardonnay with a little butter and a little oak on the back end. A bit nutty on the nose and tongue
