My last bottle of this and the best so far. I would have a difficult time, I think, telling this apart blind from a classified St. Julien like, say, a Langoa-Barton. Fragrant, everything in balance, great length.

I don't drink much Napa Valley Cabernet because Not only are they expensive, but I'm almost always disappointed about how oaky and chocolatey they are. But this one is quite nice. Rich cassis, an earthy eucalyptus note, and a bit of the ubiquitous chocolate. Great texture, and enough dark clingy fruit to carry the chocolate. Long finish. Great with mesquite/pecan wood grilled hangar steaks. Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah all!
