Deep amber color with beguiling and complex aromas of roasted walnuts, toffee, molasses, coffee flavors with hints of of orange zest and baking spice aromas. On the palate it's medium-bodied with very good acidity, and an appealing oily mouth feel with dried dates, raspberry juice, sweet coffee, seawater, lemon zest, and iodine flavors with a long finish.

Like drinking a barrel full of nuts, it would kill anyone with a nut allergy in 1 second. But oh what a death! Pairs well with anything that's equally as nutty.

20% alcohol, deep golden amber. Fabulous oloroso, nutty and complex, classic sherry flavours. £20 for 500 ml, a bargain for a wine this good. Drunk as an aperitif and with the meal.

Huh. Real interesting. Not used to a lot of sherry itself, but more to sherry aged scotch. When I first opened it I wasn't as impressed but now I'm warming up to it a lot more. Oxidative and nutty flavors abound. For the price, definitely worth it to try. Might grab some more sherries.
