Blackberry, black cherry, tobacco leaf, mocha and oak. Great structure and soft tannins.

The flavor was very mellow and paired well with a steak. I did experience a bit of stuffiness after a glass, but it wasn’t too problematic. Overall, I enjoyed this wine and am glad I have another bottle.

Wine from a vineyard we visited in Chile. Version sold in the US. Good everyday drinking wine.

Dark garnet. That perfumey carmenere aroma, but seasoned with some oak, adding an almost herby dimension. Oily smooth body, silky tannins--great right out of the bottle. Rich long-lingering flavors of plum, golden raisins, potpourri, vanilla, and prune. A decadent balanced monster wine for $12!!!

Feel a little bitter but not that sour at first. But later, it becomes flat, which is very different. Do not like it much

Definitely not flat! Spice is on the back end. This is a thick almost viscous wine. The gentleman who recommended enjoying this slowly was spot on!!
