Hermitage Syrah

This classic Rhône wine was tasted in a flight alongside a 2010 by Saxum. I preferred this. 1-0 Old World. A red fruit driven, slightly spicy Syrah that was just delicious today.

Uninspired. Lacked depth, intensity, and complexity.

Solid Hermitage. Needs time.

Deep colour, rich and powerful..

'99 vintage - Good but still needs quite a bit of time to come together.

This was also great!! The structure, color and palate were all in perfect shape. Well made and well cellared makes for a great 20yr old wine.

This 20yr old delivered! Great clarity and structure. Opened with tertiary notes but gave way to such beauty and grace. This is a great wine.

Blown away by this 1999 tonight. Lots of great New England sports tonight so I needed something with some backbone. This is really terrific! #goredsox #gopatriots

Not the most complex wine out there but definitely a bottle in its prime. Delicious.
