It is approaching its peak and not far off. The nose is garrigue and mint with a bit of alcohol vapor still. On the tongue the wine reveals really fine structure and deep, chewy black fruit with a hint of licorice. This is a winter wine.

Very nice Gigondas. Very well balanced. No hard edges with a touch of glycerin and a nice 30 second finish. Need to give it 30 minutes or so to let it’s true character come out

Vivid ruby red with a slight hint of brown. Deep raspberries dominate with a hint of thyme, garrigue and parsley. Even at ten years, it's still full bodied with bright red fruits and integrated tannins.
