2006: super developed, meaty, gamey, with forest floor, mushroom, trufflednotes. Lovely sweet oak note, vanilla, somewhat reminiscent of a classic aged Rioja. Splendid rich palate, medium bodied, very fresh with acidity, bags of red fruit, hints of black, meaty, gamey, leathery, smokey. Superb.

Nose of blackberry, game meat and garrigue. Lovely and pretty masculine. The palate is huge with and acid backbone that drives it very far, a lively blackberry fruit dancing around with meaty, salty touches. The whole thing is very precise and balanced. Everlasting finish with black Forrest fruits and an olive, salty note. Love it

On the nose, mainly savoury notes of meat, olives and herbs but with hints of dark fruit peaking through. In the mouth, well balanced acidity with tertiary flavours taking over. Medium bodied, silky mouthfeel and good length with the tannins making their presence felt at the end.
