Still fresh and bright and with terrific complexity and just a hint animalistic, smoked meats, espresso, sweet red fruits and a long silky finish.

Classic barnyard and earth. Lovely rich powerful but elegant. Very nice

Fresh and alive still. Black olive, mushroom and tobacco. Some plum and dark fruit too. Very good.

This wine is on the decline and was much better five years ago. However it remains a wonderful expression of Cote Rotie with all of the earth and pheromonal and barnyard elements that make the wine such a joy to drink. Drink up.
