This reliable wine is tasty vintage after vintage. The 2016 is pale gold and fresh-smelling. Green Apple and lemon aromas are braced by a strident minerality. Those minerals really come forward on the palate, as do the apple and citrus flavors. The wine is ever so slightly frizzante in the glass, and the acidity rips across the taste buds.

This bottle has the creaminess that I have never tasted in a Albariño. I’m not sure if it’s because of the serving temperature because it was not as chilled as I like. Nevertheless the texture is nothing I would expect. And I love it.

Grassy as hell. Missing some fruit but washed down grilled shellfish with ease!
