Went to a Private Equity tasting and tasted this and couple other vintages side by side. Ruby with a rich bouquet of fruit, earthy spice and hints of floral. The palate is big & chewy, with ripe cherry, leather, espresso & cacao, rich & robust. Savory finish with toasty oak notes, structured tight tannins. An excellent and enjoyable wine you should not pass up, if you can get one, but let it develop for another 10 years to unwind before popping the cork! Consistent quality. Tasting Sample.
