The Viognier here adds a really welcoming and crisp acidity to the usual orchard fruit and toffee notes common to the Roussanne from this AOC, making this lighter and more deft on the palate than some more heavy-footed offerings. Honeyed Granny Smith. Mmmm.

Jun 24th, 20162014 vintage- pineapple, some peach and pear, with a hint of Meyer lemon. The illegal Cornas blanc made from roussane and Viognier- an interesting value that didn't disappoint for the money.
