Never fails, hallmark of Oregon quality, always big always polished, this 11 of course is leaner but for Serene that means balanced. Great juice, thanks Ken.

Floral notes of cherry and strawberry. Mouthfeel was very silky with a nice smooth finish. Elegant compared to California Pinot. Looking forward to my trip to Willamette Valley next week.

Deep ruby color with a forward aroma of oak, red fruit and forest floor. Pronounced acidity on the palate with too much oak to balance the cranberry and forest floor fruit. Overall the wine lacks value for the high price

2011 vintage. Elegant showing. Bright, yet subtle. Underlying spice provided texture, but came across slightly thin. Very enjoyable and well made, showing the vintage.

Yamhill Cuvée is named for the county where the Domaine Serene Estates are located. This blend has grapes from Dundee Hills, Eola-Amity Hills, & Yamhill-Carlton AVA's. Vivid Ruby and rich fruit aromas of red berries and floral spices, known as “little sister” of the Evenstad Reserve. The palate shows sweet cherry and strawberry fruit with hint of oak & citrus zest. The wine is well balanced, long finish, smooth tannins, residual fruit and mineral tones. Aged for 12 mos in new French oak (54%).
