Domaine Serene
Côte Sud Vineyard Pinot Noir
Dundee Hills, Willamette Valley, Oregon, USA
Taught noble reduction hid the nose for awhile. Once it opened: dark and red fruit slightly dried. Nutmeg, cedar planks. Crushed lavender. Black tea. Lush and rich across palate. Retains some lightness while filling the whole palate. Firm, drying tannins. Acid is nicely balanced. Long, chewy finish.

Earthy and herbal. Background smells like weed to be frank or maybe some next to us was having a classic Oregon experience... Then deep cherries and spice come through and some spice on the tongue.
