Bourgogne Aligoté

The 2015 Bourgogne Aligote from Roulot is fantastic. It begins with beautiful aromas of orchard fruits, lemon oil, stoney minerals and hints of dried floral. On the palate this shows wonderful overall balance and vibrancy all the way through the fresh finish. A fabulous wine from one of Burgundy's premier producers and a wonderful expression of the varietal.

Such a great Aligote, showing lots of lemon, citrus with a flinty, mineral, chalk, saline finish.

Corked! Beautiful green-straw color; ample length and texture... sadly taint affected.

Is there a better drinking Aligote than Roulot. So much racy acid, mineral, saline with notes of flint, chalk & white flower
