Bottle I had a couple weeks ago was obviously oxidized. This one is serious and holding together nicely. Dense, brooding, but enough femininity to not need meats or anything against it. Minerals and a metal tint for sure present and available.

Great balance - Forward , round tannins which develop in the mouth. Tannins not too drying.. Decent finish ...which demands more. Drinking well.

Only an hour in right now. The temperature in this room is about 63 F and so is the wine. It has concentration and finesse. Dark cherries are transcending into subtle polished leathery finish with a fine viscosity. Will take this down the road and open in another hour. The effect is a little witchy...a little more than meets the taste buds. Rating it 8.5 at the moment for the price...its transcending the everyday Bourgogne but I haven't caught it in prime time methinks. ... 3 hours later: this wine is haunted. Emotions exploded, glasses were broken, heartbreak ensued. It needs a bit more time to calm down.
