Original Georges but the classification ain’t here yet. A very intense, roiling nose of dark red and blue fruit. Dense with forest floor, sour plummy notes. A bloody purity to the fruit. Crazy intense for a 30 year old wine. Tannins resolved. Quite masculine and brawny with pretty notes on the edges. Really memorable. The most intense and concentrated Vougeot I’ve tried. Incredible.
