Big and rich. Deeper than many Volnay wines. Still closed but great depth and richness. Lovely balance.

Rich, ripe and many years ahead. An unctuous Volnay arguably displaying more vintage character than site.

Rich sappy fruits with dark cherry & plum, meat, iron, mineral, dried herbs, floral with good grip & tannin structure.

Herbaceous nose, cherry and mint on the nose.
Velvet mouth feel, thin at first with some disjointedness in the tapestry of tastes: powdery tannins, rich mature fruit, lasting acid.
