Really reduced burnt match, nice proper Bourgogne Chard. Served too cold but once it warmed up quite nice.

2022/5/10 with mushroom Demi-glacé omelette, etc. A well-balanced melange of citrus and pit fruit, stone, honey, and woody, lightly toasted spice. A touch of sweet and sour - flesh and acid backbone. This price for a Chalonnaise villages would have been a non-starter 10 or even 5 years ago, but here we are. Obviously it doesn’t have the depth or intensity, but very satisfying.
