Very brooding, giving up very little at first. After an hour of air, red fruit and spice come through with good balance. The palate is medium bodied and has great acidity. This is nice now, but a few years too early. Another 5-8 years at least and will last 25+.

Great, but a baby. Accessible now, but only hinting at the complexities to come - not going to kick it off the table, but its best years are still to come. Beautiful Volnay fruit. Thanks @Evan Vallee !

Airy, almost weightless, yet many aromas and flavors. Pronounced Floral, herbal nose with green and spice hints, clean red fruit palate with raspberry, some cherry, a mineral spine, long finish. Young, all primary, no earth. Will be interesting to see if this adds volume, though for me, I’m very good with where this sits today.

This is the epitome of elegance with a powerful but laidback structure. Dark berries, violets, crushed roses, cinnamon and other spices, delicious from the start but lots of tension and structure. Deceptively accessible. Great stuff and made to last, drink or hold. Enthusiastically recommended !
