opened w high hopes after a stunning 66 Corton a few weeks back, wine was sound but no thrills. Tertiary with mushrooms and classic sous bois, no Vosne spice, very little fruit. Didn’t change much in glass. Not a great wine. Too tertiary, expected to see mushrooms in the glass.

Aromatics are stunning here -- such beautiful violets and red fruits, so delicate. Mid palate is thinner and finish is less developed. But a beautiful red burgundy, very subtle though.

Great wine. Initially I thought this showed better than the DRC but the grands ech won in the end. Great aromatics here also but DRC won on purity and precision of fruit
