Had another bottle. Perfect now! A small, family-run domaine now in its 5th generation. Cathy & Cedric aim to strike a balance between the old and the new, with wines that respect the traditions of their ancestors but have one foot firmly in the present. 100% Gamay, Ruby with dark berry fruit aromas and citrus zest notes. On the palate blackberry flavors with citrus rind tones and dusty tannins. Savory mouthfeel, lingering finish, nice value. Drink now!

January 10, 2020. Tucson. Morgan Corcelette. 100% Gamay. Red fruit (raspberry?), nice complexity, it keeps surprising. Easy to drink. Had with curry and by itself, good both ways. 😁

First Morgon. Like drinking a bouquet of dried flowers, but the fruit are still working. Finish is a bit short, but I found this wine pleasantly exciting.

More balanced than the Villages from the same year. Raspberry and minerals, not much in the nose.
