Saint-Joseph Syrah

Meaty st Joseph. Lovely development. Still pretty fresh on palate.

Needs an hot to open. Then softish fruit an great aromatics. Great bloody Syrah nose on open. Nice juicy finish.

Loads of complexity on the nose. Maybe a bit of sulfur. Gamey, bloody. Excellent fruit and purity. Top St. Joseph.

Blood, guts, glory.

'Merica steak called for this high acid red. Wild herbs, juicy red fruit, peppery.

Lovely stuff from fass selections!

Fruity, lean, mineral, sulfur, rich complex nose. enjoyable, but it does have a bloody essence which is bothering me a bit. Long finish. Let this wine breathe a bit after opening. After time a rich smokiness evolves.

Stunning savory black fruit. Lovely minerality

Nice smoky nose with some blood. A bit unyielding on the palate but good acidic balance. My guess is that this needs 12-24 months.
