Loads of complexity on the nose. Maybe a bit of sulfur. Gamey, bloody. Excellent fruit and purity. Top St. Joseph.

Jul 5th, 2014Fruity, lean, mineral, sulfur, rich complex nose. enjoyable, but it does have a bloody essence which is bothering me a bit. Long finish. Let this wine breathe a bit after opening. After time a rich smokiness evolves.

Nice smoky nose with some blood. A bit unyielding on the palate but good acidic balance. My guess is that this needs 12-24 months.
