I love this wine. The nose is that bright grapey nose like cru Beaujolais. Palate is super fresh. Crunchy. Juicy. A bit of licorice. Really a delicious everyday wine that his super well made. That's hard to find. Bought from Fass selections.

Elegant and complex. A ton going on in the nose. Cassis, raw lamb, smoke, black peppercorns, liquid granite, dark florals. I feel like taping the glass to my nose. Linear and flavorful in the mouth. Very good acidity and a lengthy finish. The the barest bit of ultra soft tannin. Starting to peak but will get a bit better over the next 1-2 years.

Szechuan peppercorns initially, but it's changing quickly. 30 minutes in a decanter and the Szechuan peppercorns are still there but there's gamey raw beef, cracked stone dust, dried thyme, and cassis. Lighter in the mouth than the nose suggests, and lean too. But very flavorful, with clingy dry blackberry extract, roasted pungent herbs, and loads of cracked stone minerality. Really good acids keep it very fresh. Light, very fine- grained tannins.

Terrific. So fresh and vibrant with amazingly pure fruit on serious granite minerality. So drinkable. I love this wine.

2013. A generous and pure example of Rhone-grown Syrah. Amazingly healthy fruit. I dare anyone not to like this wine. It's like drinking velvet.

Tasted it together with Paul Jaboulet Crozes Hermitage 2011. PJ is so much better. LH has a more artificial taste. But it's quite OK on it's own.

Lovely rhone ready to go. Zero decant and we had leather, leaves, artichoke, strawberry(?), over rich silky tannin and a touch of acid and a tingly finish. Great value for a distinctive wine.
