Mar 5th, 2017Noticeably raveneau but broad, fleshy and quite exotic. All the honeyed and floral notes you're used to from valmur but it lacks a bit of the minerality and cut you'd expect from one this young. Admirable given the vintage and a delicious, if atypical, wine.

03 was a inquire year in France especially in burgundy. This grand cru was awesome with that straw color and minerality that is in every raveneau. This wine took two hours to finally open.... Balance meyer lemon and a bit of flint.... Just don't make chablis like raveneau.
