Doesn't roar out of the glass the way the 2013 does. But classic dark chocolate and black olive flavor, with perfect structure.

The pepper and black fruit notes I expect from syrah and the fruit is basically level with the mineral character it shows. Very little earthiness of any at all. Really a cool wine that exemplifies wet rock and fruit at the same time while giving that black pepper note syrah lovers can't quit.
