This is why Burgundy has a bad name. Amazing sauvage on the nose, but the palate is insipid with no fruit weight and a real underripe green character leaving a sour aftertaste. High acid and delicate but lacking fruit ripeness and balance. For $140 this is a big pass.

Apr 9th, 2022This came across as somewhat light and easy going. It was enjoyable and fruit forward, lots of raspberry and strawberry , though no huge complexity . Acidity was balanced , length was about ok, slightly hollow mid palate however . I am not sure how this will age in all fairness , I expect a 1er cru to go a few years in what was a reasonable vintage . This however seems just perfect now..
