Great Bourgogne rouge. Tight and coiled, a bit dark and brooding, but so smooth and fresh.

When I first tried this Bourgogne back in Feb it was closed up and not showing well. Come September and now she’s singing. Bright red fruit, earth and fresh herbs on the nose and palate. The tannins still have a little edge but have softened nicely. Bright fresh acid. Good intro to the house style. Wish I would have purchased more. Benefits from decanting.
