Very lucky to get to try this. Left over from a wedding I worked. Everything I love about good white Burgundy. The nose smells like brioche toast, wet stone, earth, vanilla, with a faintly cheesy funk I often get from barrel aged whites. It’s weighty on the palate without being unctuous, with searingly high acidity. Just a lovely wine that I could never justify buying on my own.
