From mag. A slightly musty nose. Mushroom, sour cherry, underbrush. A little dry on the finish.

DRC Night at Secrets Moxché in Cancun. Held up better than most aged burgs I’ve had. Color is pale garnet, brickish. Notes of old church, library, dried red berries, medium body, acidity still vibrant. Long finish. Past its peak, possibly, but extremely intelectual wind.

Beautiful drinking La Tache. Perfect btl from their cold cellars. This had sweet red cherry, Asian spices, violets, forest floor, meat broth and a touch of blood orange, med bodied, good power, velvety finish and a rustic nature.
