Light canary gold color, bright and young. An unmistakably Coche nose with notes of Meyer lemon, crushed white stone, tan spice, petroleum jelly, ripe kiwi fruit and some oak. Rich, big, and expansive in the mouth. At age ~15, it still has a strong core of acidity and it’s well matched against luscious fruit that the vintage amply provides. Lasting finish. Wow! Still early in its life journey. If this is Village juice, my mind wanders and ponders what the 1er and GC juice might taste like today.
