Nice showing for my last bottle. Big luscious fruit and ripe tannin. Rustic but balanced and very pure. Nose is licorice, spice, minerals, flowers (violets?) very nice. Good persistence as well.

Nice big dark cherry nose. Also very earthy and mineral. Savory. Palate is spicey and mineral and not too much fruit now. Juicy and balance but needs air and maybe a few years. Good core.

This wine reminds me of a hypothetical Medoc from a lean, cooler year, but made with Pinot Noir. Very austere, with an intense brambly, dried twigs and leaves thing over minerally, hard cherry fruit. Drying in the mouth. Not one of my favorite styles but distinctive. Needs food.

Love this wine. Pinot Noir with a dash of Cesar. Bright and deep cherry, licorice, mineral and some nice white pepper hints. Complete and complex nose. Palate is full and charmingly rustic. Full of fruit and finesse with firm tannins and lovely balance. Terrific freshness. Really juicy. Drinking so well now.
