Sweet chestnut honey! Sweet vanilla cherry, cola nut, violet, lavender, purple flowers minty cream, tart red fruits, ash, steely on palate woodsy forest floor. High acid, fine steely tannins.

Supremely delicious & in a great place, secondary & complex but acid & structure of a youngn'

2010 - yummy - mature and strawberry jam on lightly toasted baguette. Bring me some port rillete.

My favorite vintage in years. Side comment -the label reminds me of the Antebellum South in a good way.

Nose is barnyard with light peppers and tobacco, mouth fully integrated earthy tobacco, minor black fruit. Finish is long, components of the mouth + alcohol.
