Distinctively Italian bouquet. Spicy and tannic all over the mouth. Fun little Cabernet franc type impression, albeit coming from Montepulciano and aglianico instead. It has some leather and cigar box, but still retains a good bit of red fruit. A little black peppercorn on the finish.

Mmmm love this from first taste, chalky raspberry fruit. Pretty clear claret color, will have trouble waiting 90 minutes for the beef stew to finish before indulging. This wine has character.

Great stucture and nose. Just fininished the last sip over two hours after uncorking and it's mellow. The structure holds but with an elegance worthy of a long, post meal, fireside chat.

All I need now is a fireplace.

Wonderfully balanced. Medium bodied with evident tannins of cherries, dark fruit, with a finish of leather. Light at first, but acidic near finish. Fantastic. Paired nicely with marinated pork chops.
