Great stuff. Young. Right. Good tannins. Powerful. Let rest. Revisit at 10.

Deep ruby red. Tight nose with dark cherries, minerality, spices, woody, and raspberries. A touch savory. Heavy tannins (7/10) and medium plus bodied. Complex palate with layers of berries, touch of earthy, spices, and solid minerality. Long and lingering finish. Drink till 2028. #winenerdherd

Perfect wine to finish off Deaf Awareness Week. If you don't know they story behind this Cabernet Franc and the roots behind it, it is worth finding out about.

Deep and dark purplish red. Ripe berries on the nose with dark spice undertones. Layers of lavender, cedar and raspberries too. Even a touch blue. Heavy tannins (7/10) and medium plus to full bodied. Plush palate layers of red plums, red cherries, dark cocoa, and a little herbal. Beefed up with an hour or so of air. Delicious Cabernet Franc! Drink till 2028.

@Steve Distler : KILLIN IT! Like I mentioned in my previous post, this is the cab franc that is so freaking good. We were treated to a rosé sample from Arnyca as well, and with living in TX, rosé is a must in the summer time. The cab franc may be the best I've come across. Not bell peppery, not plum-y, but a harmonious blend of fruit, earth and slight spice. So easy to drink. If you enjoy cab franc, hop on this bandwagon before this small production runs out for the year!

@Shay Aldriedge thank you for sharing this bottle with Jennifer and I. The nose is worth the price of admission-soft and supple flashing mocha, violet, red plum and espresso. So opulent and rich with a backbone supported by the well integrated tannins. Front of the palate gives way to sweet tannins followed on the mid palate with a snap of acidity/anise. The finish is just as soft as the entry, floral hint, cigar box and boysenberry! This is the real deal, thank you Shay!

Game on @Shay Aldriedge !!! This wine is amazing. Cherry, floral and a slight smokiness on the nose. This is a very young wine that has strong tannins so would be fun to see it evolve - if you can keep your hands off it. Bright, fruit-forward, you're hit with blackberries and black cherries, a hint of coffee or maybe chocolate on the palate - all while lacking any green pepper common in Cab Francs. The wine has a beautiful mouthfeel and dry finish Thanks for the introduction, Shay!
