Nose has wet vanilla bean, bruised yellow apple, green apple peel, iodine and dried white flowers.

Palate has day old lemon wedge, fresh apricot, candied lemon, wet stone, day old lemon zest, dehydrated pineapple and lively acidity remains

Cork pulled for slow oxidation at 7H, then double decant for service. Wine is advancing nicely through the evening; strong example of a Chablis Grand Cru from a wonderful vintage.

Nose has dried lemon peel, iodine, wet sandstone, honey butter compound, wet vanilla bean and wilted white flowers.

Palate has caramel covered dehydrated apricot, dehydrated lemon, candied lemon, wet river stones, light salinity but some amazing acidity and full, long finish; the viscosity is perfect.

No way would I have guessed the age on this bottle correctly, still relatively youthful! Future bottles may be 2026+; Wow, amazing!

Decanted 3H.

Wow nose. So funky. Smoke, spice, huge mineral. Lemon, so complex. Pitter patter of complexity. Juicy and so elegant. Very pure and even a bit young. Awesome texture and has that 08 lifting acid. Finishes so so beautiful and with intense long minerality. Terrific.

Nose is mineral and iodine.

Palate is similar. Dense mouthfeel but not dense fruit. Fruit is silky.

A slight hint of green.

Hall of very good. But not Ina negative way. I’m loving this with no carb vegetable “lasagna”. Oy that makes me sound like a Californian.

Oops. At 90 minutes that insane rich caramel density shows up. Grand cru insanity all the way. Whatever. As in life with wine timing is everything.
