I guess I haven't had very much Chablis with age on it. This was nutty and burnished; too light to partner with richer foods and missing that youthful vibrancy that goes well with lighter fare. Weird wine. 2009 vintage

The vintage of 2002 is a great example of strength at the (relatively for white wine) old age. Difficult to pinpoint the dominant flavor at the wine was going thru very sophisticated transformation during the entire dinner. Incredible fun!
