Fantastic Chinon. Nose is classic. Black fruits, cassis, gritty tree bark, slight herbaceous quality in that nice Chinon way. Really mineral and nuanced. Flowers after a while. Palate shows the depth and complexity of the vintage and this Cuvée. Long, elegant and structured with deep fruit but still a time to go. Sappy, palate staining length and ripe tannin. I’d check back in 3-5 years.

Some earth, mineral and tree bark. Naked Chinon. Elegant and structured with terrific fruit and freshness. Mineral slathered fruit and so delicate yet long. No rush. Great showing.
