Fantastic cab. Boysenberry jam, cocoa butter and thyme on the nose. Lovely acidity, soft tannins and a long finish. Never been a Cabernet person but appreciate the different styles. However this style might be my go-to. Washington cab gets my vote. I’m surprised this wasn’t rated higher but I guess because it doesn’t drink like a jammy California cab it has been deemed inferior... big mistake. Gets a 9.0 from me. Solid A.

Currants and coffee. It has nice structure but is a little on the sharp side for me. You’ll like it better if you like coffee.
