Very dark & mysterious w/huge nose full of red/black fruit, deep extraction here, some white pepper & herbaceous notes. Really nice, and the palate was redolent of nose. I typically am unimpressed with Lodi, but this had plenty of stuffing and wasn’t clumsy - it was a bit flabby & lacked defined tannic structure but was very enjoyable
