Weedy and disjointed on opening. A day’s aeration reveals a spicy, sappy Pinot of real character. Somebody at this winery has both perspective and patience. One of the better $20 bottles of Pinot out there.

Went to a walk around tasting and tried this again. I like it, but I have an issue, read on. Palate shows raspberry and cherry fruit, a touch of vanilla, balanced tannin and acidity. Lingering finish, nice mouthfeel; a joy to drink. A BIG Negative, I am not a fan of exposed cork wines, no foil or wax protecting the cork! The wine sits on the shelf, cork gets dirty and may contaminate the wine. There are other great Pinot’s at the same price point where the corks are protected. I’ll drink one of those!!

Fruit profile is a Pinot roller coaster, each sip a little different, half are decent, other half lightly astringent.

Yum!! A little tart, juicy and open. Dark cherry. Truly delicious. From friends blind wine tasting (Anu).
