Terrific nose. Soppy cherries, some barnyard that only adds to the allure. Earth. Licorice and a crystallized cherry candy. Awesome. Rich and juicy with great fruit and grip. Very pure. Energetic and alive and lingers with sour cherry and some barely sweet cherry.

If I were thinking France, I’d say this was a Savigny-Les-Beaune. Lively cherry fruit under an intensely pure stony minerality, and an almost mountain stream freshness. Tart, intense cherry fruit at first, but then turns minerally/savory, and the acidity is excellent. No great depth or complexity, but nice purity and freshness.

Feb 5th, 2019Killer nose. Mid season cherries. Deep. Loads of spice. A suppleness to the nose. Bright as well. High toned. Palate is bright and tannic with good sour/sweet cherry fruit, incredible freshness and depth. Lip smacking and very long. Excellent.

Love this wine. Such sweet wood. Nebbiolo spice. Cherry Licorice. Mineral. Very juicy. Nose is cherry licorice. Balanced. Nice juicy finish. Very well made. Really really good but lacks a second level or it would be epic. Bought from Fass selections. ... after an hour starting to get awesome secondary flavors ... but it’s all gone ... nuts.
