Sorì Ginestra Barolo Nebbiolo

Dark reddish tawny. Nice nose but a bit quiet. Some red fruit, red roses, a little smoke and some cranberry. Young and simple in the mouth. Needs more age.

Black licorice, luxardo cherries, black olive, mint, coating palate, bright acidity, texture on the finish. Delicious.

Sweet Mother I'm in barolo heaven. Tar, rose petal, flint, gravel, lavender, deep red precious sweet fruits and rich soil. Such a velvety masterpiece of power and nuance.

This bottle was in very very poor shape - bought at auction - clearly oxidized and presented acetic acid like qualities

Dried plum, cedar on the nose. Some raisin on the palate.

Red and black cherry, earth, tobacco, sweet spices, dried tea and rose petal. Medium bodied with good acid and chewy tannins
