Oct 10th, 2022Another Wednesday Wine Committee for the books, this one in honor of a former WWC member, with the wines donates from his cellar by his family. A wonderful tribute. Wines tasted blind as usual.
Wow. I’ve only had this once or twice and this reminded me how enjoyable it was. Slightly extracted with a good amount of black pepper on the finish. Mainly red and black fruit dominant at this point, with a hefty mid palate showing plum and dates. I was between Bordeaux from a warm year of CdP.

Dark cherries and a splash of leather and pepper. Great body and mouth feel.
With filets topped with blue cheese, baked potatoes and grilled asparagus.
