On the onset drinks in every way like a sturdy and complex medoc, but finishes with leathery plum fruit of SLD and not smoky cassis of Paulliac. Structured and well balanced overall. Arguably some green fruit present. Great buy at $24 (better than Artemis).

We we're just going to have a half bottle but, what a surprise, ended up with a second. A pleasant quaff.

Delish Napa cab. Not over extracted, dark and red fruit, cinnamon, a little vanilla and some cherry leather. Opens up nicely in the glass. Palate is rich fruit, well integrated tannin.

Dark fruit, tobacco and a hint of green pepper. Moderate tannins give this wine texture. Not too heavy, not too ripe...just right. Yum!
