R de Rieussec 2022
A dry white with pedigree from the heart of Sauternes.

A stunning Bordeaux Blanc Sec crafted by the esteemed Château Rieussec, neighbors to Château d’Yquem. This vintage is a blend of 55% Sauvignon Blanc and 45% Sémillon, hand-harvested from select parcels to capture both vibrancy and depth.

On the nose: Fresh, aromatic layers of thyme, lime zest, and combava, underpinned by smoky vanilla and a subtle green vegetal edge. An expressive bouquet with energy and finesse.

On the palate: Lively and mineral-driven with a chalky core. Flavors of grapefruit, lemon peel, and a hint of toasted oak glide toward a saline, slightly bitter finish that adds structure and complexity.

Mouthfeel: Crisp, textured, and finely balanced, this wine shines with a dimensional profile, bright citrus meets subtle richness, showcasing both varietals at their best.

Food pairing: An outstanding companion to shellfish, grilled fish, or goat cheese, elevating each dish with its freshness and elegance.

A wine of clarity, terroir, and charm. Cheers to Bordeaux’s dry white renaissance!
