Brilliant 2nd wine in a superb place right now. Notes of spice box and glazed cherries on the nose. Perfectly balance mouthfeel. Tannins are resolved. It has an ethereal presence, finishing with mild fig paste, cinnamon and maraschino cherries - textbook Bordeaux blend of predominantly cab and merlot.

Day 2 is just as good as day 1 - all the more impressive.

Started out a bit thin but picked up some weight as time continued through the night. At first the cedar and wood notes overwhelmed the nice red fruit. Don't think this will get better. Drink up. Give it some air as the Tannins softened after an hour in decanter.

Cedar, tight, needs to open and we need food to go with it.
